The latest Avengers Age of Ultron trailer has just been released and we are beginning to get a better idea of what to expect from the forthcoming return of the Avengers. As mentioned previously this movie, and Ant-Man, marks the end of phase 2 of Marvel Studios movie slate. So what did we learn from this trailer? Well a ton actually and here is our list of 5 things that stood out.

Avengers: Age of Ultron – 5 Things That Stood out.

Avenngers Age Of Ultron Cast

  1. More Hulk Buster Action: Back when Iron Man 3 teased the Hulk buster suit the internet went into melt down and thanks to this trailer that melt down has kicked back in. The Iron Man vs Hulk throw down has the potential to be AWESOME
  2. Wakanda Shoutout: We know that Black Panther will have a role in Captain America 3 but is there a chance that we will get to see him in this movie? Although Joss Whedon hasn’t confirmed nor denied the presence T’Challa there are hints within this trailer to say that we might be getting a look at the wider Marvel cinematic universe. There were scenes with a woman at a pool in a cave and many people have noted how much Andy Serkis looks a lot like Black Panther villain Ulysses Klaw. I’m no Reed Richards but I wouldn’t bet against a new member of Avengers having some new members come the end of the movie
  3. A Larger Role For Black Widow: With scenes showing Black Widow calming down an anger Hulk and what appears to be a younger Scarlett Johansson being operated on might we get an origin story for the Widow? Whedon is known for writing strong roles for female characters and with no solo movie in the works for her character it is no surprise that he expanding the role of this fan favorite via this sequel.
  4. Flashback Galore: Both of the trailers released so far have shown scenes that seem to indicate that some sort of flashbacks will be taking place in the movie. We already highlighted the Black Widow flashback but there was a brief glimpse of a younger Steve Rodgers thrown in for small measure. We also know that Peggy Carter will be in this movie so we might get the original origin of the Vision.
  5. Ultron Will Break Them: It is clear that Ultron will not go down the Loki route of being an anti hero. His brief appearance so far has shown us that he plans to eradicate the team with little remorse. Linking back to our first point, can we expect that his origin will be linked in with the introduction of Black Panther?
  6. Ultron From Avengers Age Of Ultron
