Yesterday we wrote a quick piece about the Jurassic World teaser trailer that had surfaced online in advance of the release of the full Jurassic World trailer. Word coming out of Hollywood was that we would have to wait until the release of the final”Hobbit” movie until we got a proper look at the return to Jurassic Park franchise.
So what have we learned from the trailer? Well for starters there is a shed load of dinosaur action that we might have expected. This time around we are going to be following around some small kids and Chris Pratt, who seems to be playing a Sam Neil type, as they try to survive in Jurassic Park. So what’s different between this movie and the others in the series? It would appear that our villainous dinosaur is a hybrid of various types which makes you wonder why anyone would splice the genes of different uncontrollable elements and expect there to be a positive outcome.
Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond.
The use of music samples from the original trilogy that could be heard at certain points in the trailer. Good callback to the original movie series
Burt Macklin FBI or Chris Pratt continues to take on some great franchise roles at present. Not only has he got the Guardians of the Galaxy series you can now add this movie to his impressive resume of late.
The tour car pods introduced near the end look very cool. Can’t wait to see them in action.
Velociraptor motorcycle club. Can’t wait for all the memes to take over the internet of this scene from the trailer of Chris Pratt and his Velociraptor crew heading off on an adventure.
The Mosasaurus feeding sequence looks like it was created for IMAX and the 3D audiences. Like most of this movie me thinks.
